This is the source for the birth/death dates of their children and spouses. THE RALSTON FAMILY TREE by Doris Wedo. Information from Beulah Livingood, Postville, IA; Beulah is a descendant of James V. Ewing; her husband Milo is a descendant of Abigail and Greenbury Jackson Livingood--so Beulah and Milo were distantly related before marriage.

Information from Abigail Livingood's death certificate provides birth and death dates.

Abigail Ewing Livingood is buried in Smith Cemetery, near Postville , Allamakee Co. IA. Also in this cemetery are her brothers, James V . Ewing and Thomas George Ewing.

Family tradition says that the Livingood and the Thomas George Ewing families made the trip between IN and IA several times, traveling on rafts on the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. Their time of final settlement in IA is thought to be about 1854.
